ystd aft exams cls went katong for K-ing session.we were itching to sing but so many of us were down with cough or flu.damn.halfway thru we decided to sing some huat n random songs, hokkien ones like 陳雷 's hua he jiu ho n childhood songs like this very sad one abt a mud doll.
lame lah but we desperately needed to destress. taking a short break to prep and carry ourselves thru a longer distance. look how hard she's studying! fortunately Tri can count on my Prince to give her some comfort. somewhr in the middle of our stressful mugging, we started fighting using 2 bears in my room,it started all cos of jiayi's lame face.

NUS open hse today, went for a few talks. faculty of dentistry one they said thr would be opportunities for some interaction with kids so if u enjoy working with children and some other qualities, could try this field of studies, which got me vvv interested(: though my ultimate ambition is still to be a paediatrician. but like the supplement in today's paper says, competition is just too fierce in securing a place in popular courses like medicine.if thats what ure aiming for,u got to be beyond outstanding, dabbling in every sch activity to be a perfect all-rounder.scholarly,leader,athlete,initiator of community service projects, testimonials from job internships etc. hmm wow..so everyone's striving to be godlike huh. i wonder how many applicants who chiong so hard to get straight A's and perfect portfolio are passionate about serving in the healthcare industry, other than just thinking that its meaningful to save lives n that its a highly respectable occupation in the opinion of most people.
yes so the point is thr's nothing wrong with dreaming of being the owner of a chain of 'mama stores'..? maybe someday we will all realise Jin has great foresight abt which is the most rewarding career path.
In the pursue of academics excellence,i hope i will never lose my true self and my dreams.BLAH,not that im performing exceptionally well now, like woah elite student.
Seow n me decided to watch the leap years(thankfully watching movies is a much less emotionally and mentally draining activity).yea it was a romantic story that involved a long but eventually rewarding wait. aww and the 2 of us are like crybabies plus suckers for fairytale endings, so it was like her sniffling,me drying my tears =X
